Bio
Tatu was about 7 years old when he started keyboard lessons. That was the startup punch to his musical hobby. He soon switched the keyboard to guitar. Nirvana and Metallica were Tatu’s the biggest influences for many years. Also other rock/heavy bands of the 90’s made a permanent mark of Tatu’s musical taste.
Tatu met Antti at elementary school in Pansio, where all members and ex-members of Reactor also hail from. Tatu got to know Antti’s brother Tommi, whose guitar playing inspired him.
In 2000 Tatu founded his first real band called Medley, band soon changed their name to Blisser. After about 10-20 gigs and 4 years the band split up. Tatu and the Blisser-bassist Jaakko Tiainen had an urge to found a new band after the era of Blisser. Then Tatu had an idea to ask Antti to start playing with them. They founded a trio called Circum Elements in 2004.
After a while Reactor’s headboard decided that they needed a second guitar player in the band. Tatu was the only good choice because Tommi and Antti knew him very well and he had the required skills to play in the band. Tatu joined Reactor in summer 2005.
